Privacy Policy
My Arts Desire makes every effort to respect the privacy of our online visitors. When you order a template package, your name, address, and email address is forwarded to us (along with the name of the theme and the date of the order). This information is kept on a personal computer. No information has or ever will be sold, traded, or otherwise viewed by any third parties. We occasionally send emails to those who have signed up for our newsletter or purchased from our site.
At this time, we do not have the technology to screen information or data taken from individuals who are minors. Parents are urged to regularly monitor and supervise their children's online activities.
Through our shopping cart, your credit card number is encrypted and recorded on a separate secure server. As a fraud prevention measure, we also record the IP address of the person making the transaction. No credit card data is ever stored on our servers or computers.
If, at any time, you wish to be removed from our mailing list, please send us an email with the subject line "No More Mail". We will promptly remove your name from our data base. Our list is not shared with any third parties.
Discounts and Donations
Templates give you a great value for the price. They are flexible, easy to use, and give your web site a professional look. When you could pay $2000 or more to a designer, we feel our pricing is a definite value. Because we get a lot of requests for donations and discounts, we have listed our policies below:
- We offer volume discounts only. If you purchase over $250 worth of templates at one time, your discount is automatically deducted at the time of purchase. The more you buy, the higher your discount.
- We typically offer several sales each year. We display a sale notice on the home page when this is in effect. During a sale, discounts are automatically taken at the time of purchase. Be sure to check our site frequently.
- We value the importance of charitable donations, but limit our donations to organizations in our own local area where we know those involved. If you are a non-profit group in the Katy-Houston area, please contact us for details.
Template Support Policies
We take pride in offering complete customer support for our templates. We make each and every template ourselves (we don't resell templates designed by 3rd parties) and we know best how to fix the occasional problems that may arise. Our goal is to assist you every step of the way to ensure that your web site is up and running perfectly.
- We will support all template issues for 12 months from the date of purchase.
- We are limited, however, in the free support we can offer for templates which have been heavily modified by altering the page layout design or the CSS file.
Refund Policy
Since we offer non-tangible irrevocable goods, we do not issue refunds after the product is purchased except under the terms of our warranty as stated in the license agreement. If you have any problems with your template, please notify us as soon as possible.
We gladly offer refunds on any items that prove to be incompatible with your particular computer configuration. If you have installation problems with any of our products, please contact us as soon as possible. We can help resolve the issue, repackage the template, or refund your purchase price.
Each template has a full preview available. You see each page before you buy. If you have any questions about the application or suitability of any package, contact us for more details BEFORE your purchase.
We are not responsible for the policies of other companies who may also offer our products for sale or who may have sold our products in the past.
Replacing Lost Templates
It has always been our policy to replace your template package for free within 30 days from the date of purchase.
While most people would rather crash their cars rather than their hard drive, it is each individual's responsibility to backup important data. Please place your original zipped download file onto a floppy disk, CD, or other removable media. Label this disk with the name of the theme, date of purchase, order number, and any other important information. Keep this data in a safe place.
If you need a replacement copy of your template, please contact us with your request. Include your name, the date of your original order, your invoice number, and the name of the template. Note that you must supply enough information so we can verify your order. Your replacement template will be emailed to you as soon as possible during our normal business hours. Please note that we cannot replace templates that are no longer in our catalog.
